The Power of 4

Facials are my favorite, but if you fail to stick with a balanced home care routine that glow will soon fade. Here is my simple 4 product regimen to wake up your skin to its full potential between professional treatments.
My philosophy: keep skincare simple. If its not easy, you won’t do it.
Here are my 4 must have products for a solid routine morning and night:
1. Cleanser: You saw that one coming right? You have to wash your face, especially at night. Throughout the day we encounter dirt, dust, pollen, and free radicals. We also wear makeup! Just think of what ends up on your pillow if you don’t wash your face, gross right?!
2. Serum: I think of this step as feeding my skin with antioxidants, vitamins, and anti-aging properties. Serums are thinner in consistency as well. It is important to go from light to heavy in application.
3. Sun Protection by day: This is your final step, see only 3 products this is easy! You MUST wear Sun Protection and I’m not talking about the SPF in your makeup, that’s cheating. You need to moisturize and protect your skin at the same time. Makeup can’t do that. Look for the active ingredients titanium dioxide and zinc in your SPF.
4. Repair Creme by night: After a day of exposure to the elements night is our skin’s natural renewal time. Your skin heals itself while you sleep, thus it is important to give it the nutrients it needs to regenerate.
Bonus step: I know one more, but I believe everyone could use an amazing eye creme. Its optional, but it will target dryness, dark circles and those fine lines no one wants.

Night: Cleanse, Serum, Repair Creme
